Cascade Clamp - Established in Portland, Oregon in 1943, the Cascade Manufacturing Company began as a small machine store employing only 4 individuals. Overall sales for that year amounted to about $60,000. The first recorded sales revenues involved the assembly and machining of stainless-steel valves, pipe fittings and different parts. Throughout five years of operation, the company had stretched to forty employees and their annual sales volume had increased to 330 thousand dollars. Today, Cascade is among the top international manufacturers within the material handling business.

Manufacture and design of the company's original hydraulic cylinder paved the way in Cascade's aggressive pursuit of new business possibilities. During the last sixty years, the material handling trade has grown into a highly sophisticated field and Cascade has proudly performed a part on this growth. Cascade currently continues to develop as the premier supplier of forklift attachments and different associated items. The business feels certain in their ability so as to continue to lead the way in the business by understanding client's needs in the future and remaining aggressive within the global market.

In the nineteen fifties, Cascade started designing, making and promoting hydraulic accessories. Manufacturing was completed in 1956 on a brand new facility so as to house all plant and office operations in Portland, Oregon at the company's current center of operations. After fifteen years of business, total employees reached one hundred eighty workers and sales had reached practically two million three hundred thousand dollars.

The next production plant was built in the year 1959 in Springfield, Garland. The year 1960 marked Cascade's initial transfer into the global world of the material handling industry when the business recognized interest in the Netherlands, England, and Australia.

In the year 1964, the business changed its name to the Cascade Corporation. After that in 1965, the business went public with a preliminary offering of 200,000 shares of common stock. Ever since then the company has expanded its manufacturing amenities within the continental US to the areas Warner Robins Georgia to go along with its already existing plants in Springfield, Garland and Portland, Oregon. Cascade products are fabricated globally due to many subsidiary operations. In 1994, a new facility was completed in Almere, the Netherlands which is Cascade's European headquarters. This facility is made to be the essential customer support centre.

Continuing to develop, Cascade expanded their product offering further in 1996 and the year 1997 with the dramatic acquisition of five companies, together with the global leader in blades, the Kenhar Corporation.
