Used Parts for Forklift - Over time, forklift parts would wear and have to be replaced. Purchasing brand new components could become a costly venture so another idea is to buy used lift truck parts. This can save much money eventually. It is a good idea to purchase used forklift components which have been reproduced. These parts would ensure that you are getting components which would work for a long time and be productive.
Broken or worn parts that are remanufactured are a very cost effective answer compared to rebuilding. With rebuilding components, just the parts which are worn out or broken get changed, which means that other wearable parts could break down soon after purchase.
Remanufacturing on the other hand offers the best guarantee for second-hand components. Reproduced parts are taken apart and cleaned and then all wearable pieces are replaced. All wearable components are replaced regardless of age or wear which is one more reason why remanufactured components in general work so much better. Any component within the part is brand new and this provides much longer life to the second-hand part. Depending on the forklift parts which are being redone, the cleaning process and the entire remanufacturing process will vary.
The engines are cleaned after a complete disassembly. Various engine components such as rings, pistons, spark plugs, valve springs, filters, and valves can be replaced during the process of remanufacturing. The engines are hot tested after reassembly to guarantee that there are no noise, no oil pressure problems, no leaks or any vacuum.
Transmissions are pressure washed, disassembled and oven cleaned. A complete inspection is done to be able to check for any cracks. Bearings, bushings and seals are all replaced. Normally, the replacement parts utilized on transmission components meet OEM specifications.
